• E3 2012 - Nintendo Wii U Highlights

Ah Nintendo fans, I bet you thought I forgot about you. Nintendo held their press conference today and as many expected, it focused largely on their new system the Wii U. The Wii U features top notch third party support from some of the biggest names in gaming such as EA and Ubisoft. Basically if you see a big multiplatform game coming to the PS3 or Xbox 360 in the near future, you can bet that it will be on the Wii U as well. The lack of solid third party support was my biggest issue with the Wii system. I enjoyed Nintendo's first party games, but there wasn't much else to play as the system could suffer from long dry spells in between games.

The Wii U has a ton of games on the way. Titles include Pikmin 3, Project P-100, Batman Arkham City Armored Edition, Assassin's Creed 3, Mass Effect 3, New Super Mario Bros. U, Nintendo Land, Lego City: Undercover, ZombiU, and many more. Project P-100, Lego City, and ZombiU all caught my eye. Project P-100 looks like it is going to give Smash Bros. series a run for its money as the top multiplayer Nintendo game. The game just looks insane.
I didn't think it would happen, but I'm starting to get very excited for the Wii U. I'm officially in love with Project P-100 and ZombiU. *Zombie Groan*

For all you Nintendo 3DS lover out there Nintendo did show a trailer for New Super Mario Bros. 2. More 3DS games will be revealed tomorrow.
